Upcycled Organic Yuzu & Mugwort + 20 Japanese Plant Extracts

This deeply hydrating and multi-balancing phyto water toner was specially formulated for all types of dry and sensitive skin, including mature skin and even baby skin.
Free from essential oils, it features a rich concentration of plant-derived polysaccharides extracted from organic yuzu seeds and a synergy of 20 organically cultivated Japanese botanicals.

 

What Makes It Special

  • Over 80% yuzu seed polysaccharide extract, derived from organic yuzu grown in the sacred village of Ginga (Shinkyo), Miyazaki Prefecture—a place known for its traditional rituals and local legends (also the setting of a 2022 film adaptation).

  • The yuzu seeds used are rescued from over 2 tons of seasonal juice byproducts, which are hand-sorted and distilled at our in-house lab, the Botanical Formulation Research Institute.

  • The product name "Artemisia" refers to Japanese mugwort, a revered herb known as the "Queen of Herbs" and collected from the sacred lands of Takachiho.

  • Contains no essential oils, making it safe for all skin types, including ultra-sensitive skin and infants.

 

Natural Gel-Like Texture, No Additives Required

The toner’s signature texture comes entirely from its high content of yuzu-derived natural polysaccharides (pectin) — offering exceptional moisture retention for dry or irritated skin.
Yuzu pectin, a water-soluble dietary fiber, helps support smooth, hydrated, and radiant skin without any need for synthetic thickeners or emulsifiers.

 

Powered by 20 Botanical Extracts from Miyazaki, Japan

All 20 extracts are:

  • Organically or naturally cultivated

  • Pesticide-free

  • Wildcrafted where possible

  • Extracted without the use of water or ethanol — only using organic yuzu peel water as the base

These rare, regional botanicals are cultivated and processed directly in Miyazaki Prefecture, where our cosmetic production facility is located — a true local sourcing and upcycling initiative from soil to skin

This toner feels more like a serum than a traditional water-based toner. Its silky, hydrating texture provides long-lasting moisture and is especially effective when layered 3–5 times to prevent dryness.
