The Shorea stenoptera tree, known locally as “Tengkawang,” grows in the lush rainforests of Borneo, reaching up to 30 metres in height and over 2 metres in diameter. From its nuts, a premium butter is extracted — long valued in cosmetics and as a sustainable alternative to cocoa butter in chocolate making.
This precious butter has an unusually low melting point of 38–39°C, allowing it to melt instantly on your fingertips. We harness this unique property to create a balm with exceptional absorption and long-lasting moisture — perfect for soothing and protecting delicate lips, while versatile enough for multi-purpose use.
